Make your way to the Palms for an epic evening of dance and noise under the stars! Free camping on site for those who want to sleep where they fall.

It is too hot to think in August in Wonder Valley. After a day hunkering by the swamp cooler, it is time to go to the Palms Restaurant and Dance! Disco Noise will bring the best of the desert noise artists to the stage at The Palms. The Alien Agenda is sweeping in from Yucca Valley. Hernia from Landers, last seen at the Bedlam art show at Radio Free Joshua Tree will take it to the stage at Disco Noise. Phog masheeen is premering a new set of bone crushing and ear searing audio. It is hard to enjoy the days of August in the desert, the nights however.... are sublime.

The glorious documentation of the phog masheeen performance at the Jawbone Canyon Dung Mummy is now available for your amusement and perusal.
The details of this set include torrential rain, saturation of electronic gear with the gear failure that comes with it. It was a longer than normal set due to the cancellations of other acts on the bill.
Enjoy this man against nature moment. It was a memorable gig.

"I just wanted to tell you how much I am Enjoying (pun) Shoutland.  It’s brilliant!  The more I listen to it, the more I can’t decide which tracks I like best.  The CD  has a nice, disturbing flow when played in numerical track order but also works well shuffled.  The entire premise of a crazed, hoe and screwdriver wielding vigilante taking on noisy, asshole neighbors is delightfully evil and fulfilling.  My favorite tracks (as of my last listening) are: Gone Up North, An Ice Chest of Donor Organs, I Want to Take a Shower (I love Lisa’s aural painting of Agatha), Buzzing Like Cicadas and of course, my all-time favorite, The Party’s Over (Now Get The Fuck Out).  Bad Plumbing is bitchin as well." JB
