Palm Springs Museum of Art and Savage Gallery Reception Sunday 3-11-12

Imagine our surprise and delight when we were invited to have a reception after the Palm Springs Museum of Art show (1:00 PM) at the Savage Gallery from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Sunday 3-11-12.

Here are some of their comments.

Experimental musicians Phog Masheen will attend a reception in their honor at the Savage Gallery on Sunday March 11, 2012 from 5 pm to 7 pm, following a live performance at the Palm Springs Art Museum. Phog Masheen is a sound art/video collective from Costa MesaCalifornia, who use aerophones, idiophones and electronics for performance and sound design. They have performed at large venues such as Disney Hall.  Please RSVP.
"What other gallery in the Coachella Valley is offering experimental or avant guard arts?"  announces Savage, gallery owner and fine artist. "We are becoming THE cutting-edge venue for artists of all kinds and we are proud to be able to host this reception for Phog Masheen."
"No idea is off-limits with this group," explains Brother Andy, who has produced several music videos for them.  "There is freedom when not confined to format and these are the kinds of artists who create the future."
