A thrilling new Video spot for WVE11!

In the era of "must see TV." This really is it. Eric Strauss (Skunk Puppet) Hit a real home run with the audio. This homage to '60s dragster ads is epic in nailing the genre. Bill Almas video provides a noir tone to the proceedings. Dig it you wont regret it...

The Great Work Begins on booking the Wonder Valley Experimental Festival...

In the dark days of winter, spring in the desert seems impossibly distant. However that is when we begin to assemble the line up for the WVE8 (Wonder Valley Experimental 8). It also seems amazing that this is the eighth iteration of this event.

Pulsating Cyst will be headlining this year. I am very excited about this his performances are ambitious and amazing.

The rest of the lineup will be released closer to the event date.

We are hosting performers from near and far.

The Event page on Facebook is here: https://www.facebook.com/events/868337689946912/

Stay tuned for updates on this page, twitter and facebook.

There is a badge to follow phog masheeen on twitter to the right of this post, just scroll down to find it.

Stay Tuned....Mark the calendar for April 9th!

Desert Experimental 3AM, no show at the Puka Bar...

Desert Experimental was great in many different ways.
By the time we got on it was 3AM. I was glad it wasn't sunrise. We wouldn't have been able to see Bill's Videos. The set went well and we missed the lone heckler.

The lone heckler was the daytime bar tender at the Palms and voiced her opinions about every performer till about 2 AM when the bar closed and she went home. I missed much of her schtick but I was told she was relentless.

On Monday I went to the Puka Bar for noise night, however it didn't happen and the usual suspects arrived and loitered around and groused for a while then wondered off. As they say.... better luck next month.

We got accepted to the soundwalk for another thrilling year! The performances this year will be nomadic and will be announced on twitter. You can follow this mirth and merriment by following @phogmasheeen on twitter.

gotta run,
