One of the highlights of the Santa Ana noise festival was the opportunity for Emmy Collins and Lisa Black to be in the same room at the same time. Emmy and Lisa lent their voices to the characters of Entropy and Cold on the phog masheeen CD "The Eternal Battle of Heat and Cold." Emmy recorded his parts in Landers California and Lisa recorded her's in Costa Mesa. They had not met till the noise fest.

| The gallery staff had been straitening the pictures all night long. By the end of the evening they had been vibrated to a new "level." Evidence of good sub-woofers. |

New developments at phog masheeen headquarters.
Great fun stuff is happening here,
Sunday 11-25-12 at 3:00 pm Dr. Kaplan and I will be performing at the OCCCA in Santa Ana in a tent for a fall festival. We will ofcourse be hyping the upcoming Santa Ana Noise Fest on Dec. 8 at the same venue.
We are in discussions regarding a trip to the east coast in March and OUR NEW DVD will be delivered next week. This DVD documents recent Tinnitus 2 Go! shows and has the trailer for the Eternal Battle of Heat and Cold CD. It will be available at shows only.
I just posted a remix for a contest. If glitch hop is your thing you can check it out here....

What we are working on here at phog masheeen central and the Henry Rollins article...
Here at phog masheeen central we have a variety of irons in the fire.
William is building a DVD of performances featuring HD renditions of his hand crafted videos to be seen with actual recordings of the gigs. We are very excited about this and it documents the Tinnitus 2 Go series of shows. Included will be the Norcal Noisefest Set as well as MeowMeow's one stop Rock Shop. For these sets Eric Strauss was laying down swaths of sound with the Shambler. The Shambler being the sonic tool that Eric fabricated.
The DVD offers a way to see Bill's video they way they were intended. The projections at some of the venues were at best, sub-prime.
We are working on setting up gigs into 2013 and continue to promote the Eternal Battle of Heat and Cold.
On the gig front the next event is the Santa Ana Noise Fest on December 8th. This promises to be an epic night of experimental music. Fun and FREE! If you are in So-cal it is not to be missed!
On a different note, Eric Strauss tipped me to this:

The march toward SANF4 is in full swing. Here is a snip from the press release:
Santa Ana Noise Festival Returns December 8th 2012.
The Santa Ana Noise Fest (SANF 4) returns for its fourth installment to the Orange County Center for Contemporary Art at 117 North Sycamore, Santa Ana, CA 92701. Festivities begin at 5:00 PM on Saturday December 8th, 2012. This event is FREE!
This celebration of all things experimental, improvised, distorted and loud offers an opportunity for interested parties to test their earplugs with performances from: Brutal Poodle, Cold Grey Eye, Craig Sibley, +DOG+, Endometrium Cuntplow, Grizzly, Jesus Is Dead, phog masheeen, Six Mystic Points, Wire Here, XSXCXEXBX and Yard Goat.
A unique feature of the Santa Ana Noise Fest is the “Noise Circle” at the end of the event. This offers an opportunity for all the performers to play together blending their unique approaches to sound production into a swirling vortex of sound. The proximity of the date of the SANF 4 to the end of the Mayan Calendar prompted the promoters to suggest that the “Noise Circle” could be used in a ritual manner for “Opening a rift to the end of the world.”
Directions to the venue can be found at OCCCA.ORG.
